The Pyrenees by Scooter
We drove across windy roads and took lots of pictures – only for ourselves. We met millions of cows and zero people. We slept so well and the scooters so loved the fresh mountain air. We discovered a tiny, secret and magical campground in the midst of a meadow full of hip-high grass and flowers on the Col du Portet d’Aspet. We camped there one night, right on the peak of this mountain. We enjoyed a stunning view and a completely empty camping at a sheer 4,- per person. - We loved it.
We drove over 1000km in 7 days. We paid less than 70 Euros for fuel. We went from Catalonia renting from Cooltra north-west, up in to the Pyrenees, to France, around Andorra, back down south-east, to the coast and back to Barcelona. We bumped in to the Tour de France, we slept in a tent, we talked a lot about India and were: intensely happy. – What a trip.
