The Band @ Cannes Festival

By a lovely note from  Tina Kinne, a director of mine, I found out quite surprisingly that “The Band”, which I shot in Melbourne in 2006 and which was directed by my friend Anna Brownfield,  is screening in Cannes Film Festival!

Yippieh! I win. The “National Competition for Women Directors of Photography” 2009.  For best cinematography for the movie “1, 2, 3″ directed by Siobhan Jackson.

IDFA

I am currently attending the IDFA, the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam.
I have
-lost my phone with all numbers
-bought a new phone (Dutch, no numbers)
-seen some movies
-been speaking a lot of Dutch

-danced till the morning
-been waking up early
-eaten some amazing Dutch fast food

-met old class mates from the time I studied here cinematography at the [...]
